BILL MOORE
Retired Founder, Chairman, and CEO
As BMA's Founder, Bill Moore believed that he could improve on the standard sign shop by bringing together a pool of innovative design and manufacturing talent to provide clients with a total sign service. In doing so, he created a business model that has since been imitated by many other companies in the sign industry and has brought BMA over 30 years of success.
Education:
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), BS in Chemical Engineering
Background:
Bill was in the sign business for 48 years, starting out working with his father-in-law at Nelson Neon in 1952. He was founder and original signatory of the California Sign Association (CSA) corporate charter. He served on the CSA Board of Directors for 37 years and remains a Director Emeritus. He also held a position on the Western States Sign Council (WSSC) Board of Directors. Now enjoying his retirement, Bill's influence remains a critical element of BMA's culture and prosperity; he remains our "Fearless Leader".
